Working in small IT team for one of Sydney's most exciting entertainment companies we are seeking a fantastic Support Analyst to assist in helping 100+ users through Level 1 technical support. You will ideally be a people person who is collaborative and willing to help.
Day to Day
You will develop a deeper understanding of user needs and perform Level 1 technical support.
The main roles and responsibilities for this position will include the following:
- Being the main point of contact for all IT helpdesk requests.
- Logging and fixing issues using ServiceNow.
- Hardware and software distribution and installation.
- Support for all office equiptment and technology including AV.
- Setting up laptops and troubleshooting printer issues, phones etc.
- This is an office based role so people looking for remote or hybrid work need not apply.
What You’ll Need
We would love to talk to candidates with strong commercial and analytical competence. Minimum 6 monthss’ experience in Level 1 Support role or similar role and ideally from a background of supporting around 100 users and an IT degree or qualification.
Thing you will need:
- You should have relevant tertiary qualifications in computer/hardware support or similar IT related subjects and you should know your way around laptop/PC hardware in terms of being able to pull one apart, recognise the components and how various issues may impact the business.
- The role would suit a new graduate or someone who has had a year or so experience in PC/hardware/peripheral support or a customer service role.
- This role is an entry level role. Candidates will be carrying out first level support - supporting AV equipment, people's laptops and peripheral issues, onboarding new staff etc. There will be very minimal if any server/network related work - if an applicant is looking for server or sys admin work, this is not the role for you.
- Personable, presentable and articulate, willingness to provide both support and challenges throughout the business.
- A passion for the entertainment industry would be helpful - media, TV, music etc.
- Knowledge of new and innovative technology solutions.
- Be energetic and passionate about helping others.
- Experience with Windows and microsoft products.
- Experience with Google Workspace would be helpful.
- Basic scripting skills.
- Knowledge of AV equiptment and VMware - desirable.
