Key Responsibilities
- Lead consulting engagements and deliver high quality outcomes, specialising in
- Splunk based engagements
- Ensure that projects delivered are of the highest quality
- Provide leadership in identifying, defining and architecting client solutions
- Provide advice to the Management team in setting direction for training and development required to meet the consulting strategy
- Provide leadership and mentoring within your area of expertise, interface with other team members to develop skills within these areas
- Provide detailed architecture, design and migration strategies
- Creating frameworks for technical documentation such as Health checks
- Design and Implementation and post engagement documentation
- Assist customers with product implementations
- Subject matter expert in SPLUNK
- Understanding of defence-in- depth designs and security layers
- Knowledge of information security standards, processes, policies and metrics (encompassing network security, application security and data security)
- Understanding of industry best practices for security architecture frameworks, tools, standards and guidelines.
- Able to assess and validate compliance to acknowledged security standards
- Very good to excellent understanding of IP networks, and security mechanisms to protect them
- Experience in a service provider environment would be an advantage
- Excellent understanding of core security technical fundamentals and principles
- Experience with security risk and compliance frameworks such as ISO/IEC 27001, 31000 series, PCI-DSS, ASD’s ISM. Including how they apply to customer environments.
- Excellent ability to strategically guide and technically implement or migrate to secure network solutions in legacy enterprise environments
- Strong troubleshooting skills and analytical abilities in reviewing, diagnosing and resolving complex networking problems.
