The role of Project Officer is to provide project management support to the Senior Leadership Team. A key part of this position will be coordinating projects within the Faculty, including researching and assisting with the preparation of relevant reports, engaging with internal and external stakeholders, and providing assistance to the Executive Team to ensure the goals and initiatives of the Faculty are accomplished.

Day to Day

The main roles and responsibilities for this position will include the following:
- Define the scope of the project in collaboration with senior management
- Create a detailed work plan which identifies and sequences the activities needed to successfully complete the project
- Determine the resources (time, money etc) required to complete the project
- Develop a schedule for project completion that effectively allocates the resources to the activities
- Execute the project according to the project plan
- Establish a communication schedule to update stakeholders in the organization on the progress of the project
- Ensure that all financial records for the project are up to date
- Evaluate the outcomes of the project as established during the planning phase
You’ll Need

You will also be able to demonstrate experience by having:
- Demonstrated experience working on a multidisciplinary project with responsibility for outcomes
- Very strong demonstrated experience in project management with proven skills in delivering project outcomes within specific timeframes
- Excellent oral and written communication skills including the ability to develop comprehensive reports and submissions
- An ability to understand the complexity, context and culture of a Built Environment Disciplines and/or Higher Education
- Demonstrated commitment to collaborative, ethical behaviour
- Proven ability to develop effective working relationships and networks with a wide range of stakeholders and utilise judgement, tact and discretion.
