Day to Day
Reporting to Head of Marketing, as PR & Communication Manager you will work to drive the development and implementation of the public relations and communications strategy to ensure positive media coverage and work with the
senior leadership team to drive awareness of the firm’s full-service offering across both commercial and residential property.
The main roles and responsibilities of this position will include the following:
  • Drive the development and execution of the national PR & Communications strategy
  • Provide guidance and set the direction for the PR & Communications department 
  • Build on your already extensive media contacts to generate media coverage
  • Work with the local and global Research and PR teams to launch global, national and local research to media
  • Manage and oversee a network of freelance PRs
  • In collaboration with the corporate marketing team, contribute to and drive the social media strategy
  • Maintain an understanding of property industry trends affecting clients and proactively identify opportunities for additional PR coverage
  • Work alongside corporate marketing and brand partners in delivering key event initiatives
You’ll Need
We would love to talk with candidates who have 5 - 6 years experience in PR & Comms with existing relationships with property journalists, coupled with a creative flair and commercial acumen.
You will also be able to demonstrate experience across:
  • A relevant tertiary qualification in business, marketing or communications
  • Excellent presentation, writing and communication skills
  • A well-developed network of journalists to engage your stories and create outstanding PR opportunities.
  • A high level of motivation, organisation and the ability to work autonomously and under pressure to reach set objectives
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills to develop positive working relationships both internally and with our clients
  • Demonstrated understanding and ability to interpret property industry research
  • Leadership skills with the ability to think big picture and long-term
