Your New Role
Reporting to the Finance and Accounting Manager, as an Accountant your role will support all statutory, tax and management reporting requirements for local business units
The main roles and responsibilities for this position will include the following:
- Assisting with month end.
- Retail sales and banking reconciliations.
- Preparation of Australian and NZ BAS and GST for lodgement.
- Assist with internal and external audit procedure.
- Reconciling inter-company and intra-company accounts.
What You’ll Need
You’ll have 1-2 years’ experience in a similar role.
We would love to talk to you if you have, or are currently finishing your CPA or CA qualifications
You will also be able to demonstrate experience with:
- Good reconciliation, analysis and problem-solving skills
- Ideally we would welcome a candidate who has retail accounting experience.
- Experience working within a team environment and supporting the business.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills and the ability to deal with people at all levels
- Hands on, confident self-starter
