Step into a people-first role that goes far beyond policy and paperwork.
We’re looking for an experienced Plant HR Business Partner to join the local leadership team of a global FMCG business with brands loved by generations across the world.
You’ll be based on-site in Lithgow, working directly with the industrial workforce, managers, and global HR to shape a high-performing, inclusive, and engaged culture.
This is a hands-on, high-impact role—perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and knows how to drive people outcomes from the factory floor to the boardroom.
What you’ll be doing:
- Lead HR strategy and policy execution at the plant level
- Drive local compliance with Group standards and Australian employment law
- Partner with line managers to support workforce planning, communication and leadership development
- Manage recruitment and onboarding for new hires
- Support union engagement and industrial relations activities
- Oversee payroll coordination, leave management and HR admin accuracy
- Design and deliver initiatives that boost capability, engagement and retention
- Maintain reliable HR systems and support internal/external audits
What we’re looking for:
- Tertiary qualifications in HR, Business or related discipline
- Previous HRBP experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting
- Confident in IR/ER environments with a working knowledge of local labour law
- Strong communication, stakeholder management and organisational skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office; SAP experience a bonus
- Proactive, adaptable, and solutions-focused with the ability to work independently
This is more than a traditional HR role. It’s a chance to make real change at ground level while being backed by the systems, structure, and stability of a world-class business.
Must be a Citizen or Permanent Resident and live within reasonable proximity to Lithgow as this role is required 5 days per week on-site.
Successful applicants will be contacted by phone.
