Working alongside the Managing Director in one of the world’s most successful manufacturers in their category, we are seeking a fantastic Marketing Director to drive the marketing function and ensure all profitability targets are achieved across all brands.
Day to Day
Maintain the team of 11 with 6 direct reports, the main roles and responsibilities for this position will include the following:
- Execute go to market strategies across all brands
- Manage and develop a large marketing team of marketing experts and drive strategic marketing outputs
- Manage class-leading digital communication strategies
- Maintain and improve industry and marketing knowledge to support the company’s competitive position through business growth and development
- Direct the development and implementation of brand marketing plans and activities to deliver the brand strategy across multiple channels, including national and local advertising campaigns, incentives and promotions, sponsorship, PR plans, packaging and point of sales
You’ll Need
We would love to talk with candidates who have proven experience as Marketing Director within an Industrial or Manufacturing and Distribution (both wholesale and retail) marketing environment and have performed a similar position in a previous role.
You will also be able to demonstrate experience across:
- Strong financial and analytical acumen including P&L management
- Demonstrated knowledge of Direct Marketing, B2B and B2C marketing
- Deep understanding of digital communication technology
- Demonstrated leadership and team management experience.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Great positive attitude
