With rapid growth in both original productions and client partnerships, we are looking for a commercially savvy Financial Controller to oversee all financial activity beyond core corporate accounting and lead strategic financial management across the business.
Your New Role
Reporting to the Director of Finance, the role will focus on project accounting, financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning. Collaboration with all departments to ensure the financial goals align with the company's objectives and support the Director of Finance in driving financial strategy.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing all aspects of project accounting, cost tracking, and revenue recognition
- Leading annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting across departments
- Delivering detailed financial analysis to support key decisions and business planning
- Assisting with PDV (Post, Digital and Visual Effects) and other international funding submissions
- Collaborating with department heads to ensure budget discipline and cost management
- Identifying risks, recommending corrective actions, and enhancing financial controls
- Driving ERP implementation (Dynamics 365) and supporting systems integration
- Leading and mentoring the finance team across multiple locations
What You'll Need
You'll be a qualified CA or CPA with 6+ years' experience in finance leadership, including project-based accounting and team management. You'll be deeply analytical, commercially focused and able to move between high-level strategy and day-to-day operations seamlessly.
To succeed in this role, you'll bring:
- Experience managing multi-entity financial operations (international exposure is ideal)
- A background in creative, production, or entertainment industries
- Strong modelling and forecasting skills, with advanced Excel and ERP/PowerBI exposure
- Proven ability to collaborate across departments and influence non-finance stakeholders
