About the role:
We are looking for an experienced and motivated DevOps Engineer with strong Cloud infrastructure skills. You will manage and scale the existing infrastructure and help the transition to serverless architecture. You will design, build and deploy best practice AWS infrastructure platforms with Infrastructure as Code. You will also be working with various Dev teams to create end-to-end software
delivery pipelines.
About you:
● Strong AWS experience – VPC, EC2, RDS, S3, API Gateway, Lambda
● Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform)
● Experience working with dev teams to deliver software with Git, TeamCity and Octopus
Deploy
● Automation and monitoring scripting skills - (Bash, Python)
● Deep understanding of systems architecture (network stack, file system, OS, services,
storage)
● Good knowledge of database technologies (Aurora MySQL, SQL Server with Always On
Availability Groups)
● Authoring of docker images and instantiation of containers
● Good knowledge of load balancing architectures with Windows and Linux servers
● Metrics, logging, and performance analytics experience
Nice to have: (not a deal breaker)
● Git repository migrations
● Powershell scripting
● Azure Virtual Networks and Virtual Machines hands on
● Monitoring with Icinga
