Tech Recruitment Lead

I'm Josh Kitchin, my friends call me “Kitcho” & I’ve joined the team at Talent Realised in 2021 to help scale their recruitment function across Cloud, Infrastructure & Software Development. My niche specialisation is DevOps & SRE, a market in which I have steadily built a network of connections with the most talented and established engineers in Australia.

I am the founder & host of InfraCoders Sydney, a community first technology Meetup that enables engineers and technologists to connect with each other & share their journeys with cutting edge technologies that they have had the challenge of implementing. It is through this medium that I have made great friends in the industry, who trust me to guide them on their next career move.

I’ve also had a stint on the “inside” as a Talent Acquisition Manager for SafetyCulture, a high growth Software Scale-Up that achieved “Unicorn Status” in 2020. This experience has allowed me to understand the internal structures & processes of a successful software company and how to raise the bar on hiring quality & velocity. I have since used this knowledge & experience to enable other Start-Up’s, Scale-Up’s & Software companies to reach their unique hiring targets.

I’d like to brag about having a life outside of recruitment but I am annoyingly available and often taking calls on weekends & on the golf course. I have a deep interest in technology & a passion for helping people (I think it’s the teacher in me). Tech Recruitment allows me to light both of these fires, which is why I love my job. So reach out to me if you would like assistance scaling your team, improving your hiring processes, finding your next career move or to talk about sport (I squeeze some of that into my schedule too). There is no such thing as a silly question, so fire away!
