Working with the Director of Marketing and Communications at a purpose-led organisation in Woollahra that runs spiritual, cultural and educational programs, a preschool, public events and a streaming platform. We're looking for an experienced marketer to support the promotion of programs on campus and online, with a clear focus on growing engagement, lifting conversion, and building brand equity across every audience the organisation serves.
What you'll actually be doing
Supporting the Director of Marketing and Communications in executing the content and communications strategy. Owning social end to end across the brand and the preschool, including planning, content, community management and reporting against engagement and conversion. Producing the visual work that drives the brand day to day. Project managing cultural, spiritual and educational programs from brief through to delivery, including budgets, logistics, guest management and post-event evaluation. Keeping the streaming platform commercially sharp by lifting subscriber engagement and retention. Building the internal and external relationships that make the marketing function effective.
What good looks like
Engagement is up across channels and you can show it. Conversion is moving in the right direction, from awareness to participation, from viewer to subscriber, from prospect to enrolled family. The brand is more consistent and more confident than it was when you started. The Director has a partner she can rely on to execute and to think.
Who you are
An experienced marketer with real breadth across content, social, events and community engagement. You understand that every marketing role is ultimately about commercial outcomes, and you can talk through how your work has driven engagement, conversion and brand equity in past roles. You're hands-on enough to produce and senior enough to set direction. You're confident in a multi-stakeholder environment and you bring craft to everything you put out.
A note from me
This is a genuinely interesting role for an experienced marketer who wants breadth and autonomy in a purpose-led environment. The organisation is part of the Jewish community in Sydney, so ties to that community or a genuine appreciation for Jewish culture would add to the fit, though they aren't a requirement. What matters more is that you can deliver the commercial marketing outcomes the role is built around.
